A Miracle Called Purple

by Chandra Sundeep

A child so unlike the parents, yes, that’s me!
Who’d have thunk of this glorious miracle?
The progeny of fiery reds and calm blues
Could be an extravagant noble purple?
An unsolved mystery in my shades and hues!
Symbol of grief, passion, and vitality,
To a chosen few I’m a marvelous muse.
Prized are my glamour and femininity.
Cool and hot – a complete package – yes, that’s me!
Wisdom and peace to all is my dream innate.
A sweet reminiscence I wish to create.
