My Last Wish

On verdant greens, I whirled and twirled
Running, falling, laughing, playing
Not scared of the sun, or the germs; not a care in the world

Priceless memories now fading,
Wish I could relive those moments
Be carefree one last time, neither worrying nor faking

 

I have written this poem as a Garden Lace .

It is a two-stanza poem written in any number of tercets (3-line stanza)
syllabic, L1 & L2 : 8 syllables each, L3: 14 syllables
rhyme scheme, aba bcb cdc ded and so on
