My Last Wish

by Chandra Sundeep

On verdant greens, I whirled and twirled
Running, falling, laughing, playing
Not scared of the sun, or the germs; not a care in the world

Priceless memories now fading,
Wish I could relive those moments
Be carefree one last time, neither worrying nor faking
